Speaking of locks for wooden doors means retracing the history of Giuseppe & F.lli Bonaiti back in time until 1830, recalling the artisan shops of Lecco, the working of iron, the basic material to obtain the thread and produce then various articles that contemplated the use of this component.

The shop grows over time and, next to buckles, carabiners we find warmers, roasting pans, bed nets and tubes for the related heads, until 1936 to industrially produce locks to be applied externally on the doors.
