The D&D Shut It®  BadAss™ Barrel Hinge is the strongest and most versatile gate hinge on the market. Ideal for nearly all heavy-duty gate installations the D&D Shut It®  BadAss™ Barrel Hinge is the game changer in the industry. The Gate hinge can be installed where a full 180-degree gate opening is required and has the ability to reduce the gap between end post and gate to under 13mm.

Unique Stover Locknut™
An innovative, shaped threads provide a vibration-resistant friction fit so nut stays firm. The top thread section is deformed to create two or three locking zone (can be reused 2-3 times). The all metal locknuts withstand higher temperatures than nylon-insert locknuts.

Higher Temperature Sealed Bearings
Safe to powder-coat with hinges installed onto the gate (excluding CI3850 self-closing hinge and CI3800 Stainless Steel BaddAss) No greasing, no maintenance, hinge options include 1,2,3,or 4 bearings and performs better than roller cages that require periodic greasing.
